Happy Walpurgis Day! Here in Finland it's usually spent with drinking mead, eating doughnuts and playing with balloons, paper streamers and costumes. Today's photos have none though, but I did snap some photos of Shua and her new friend:
He's a Little Twin Star bag charm I bought through Blippo :) You may already have noticed that I'm a huge LTS fan :D I think I'll make some accessories for myself from those "extra" parts. I'm sure that text charm will make an adorable necklace!
I can honestly say I'm very happy and proud that she's my doll <3 Well, it would be sad if I couldn't think that way - she's a limited white-skinned Bluefairy and bit on the expensive side...worth every cent though :3

Speaking of Bluefairies, I noticed they have been recasted as well, boo :< Damn, I know there are a ton of honest, good Chinese doll sellers, but all these recasts...you really need to do your research these days :/

Azone's summer releases! Cute, isn't it? *3* Unfortunately I cannot preorder stuff because my doll budget is tighter than usual, thanks to various IRL expenses :< Oh well, such is life. If I could, I'd be all over that adorable swimwear and that pink S-sized yukata <3

Lots of hair
Shua's current look, inspired heavily by fairy kei and decora. Thanks, Tumblr! Her massive and adorable purple mohair wig is from Milly, and I love it. It's so thick it's really easy to style. I've been wondering if I should make a simple "tutorial" of styling mohair wigs. Well, more like giving ideas how to tame them with hair clips and rubber bands :D
And speaking of massive mohair wigs...
"The Queen" (she hates to be called one though, she's bit weird) got a new hair from Natrume. Her afro is fun too but she really cannot wear hair accessories or hairdos with it. I like the volume, the quality and the colour, but the extra length comes from strips of mohair pelt and their edges show easily unless you carefully hide them. Well, I don't know if it is possible to make this wig any other way, lining the extensions would make this one massive as it would mean the amount of fur doubling ^^; I'm fine with how it is, just wanted to share my thoughts ^^
And of course Hecate looks awesome <3

Spring knittings in pastels
I recently finished a bigger commission where I was asked to knit three hats in various sizes (1/4, 1/6, tiny). The commissioner chose the colour schemes from my yarns and I picked the decorations:

I did one extra as well as I had lots of time on my Easter holiday. This was sold on my Etsy quite fast <3
Those rose beads are my current favourite, I bought them from Ebay along with lots of other beads. These days I buy almost all my beads and jewelry-making supplies from there as Chinese sellers offer them very cheap and the selection is massive.
--
And as I had a setup ready, I snapped two extra photos of dear Shua as well:
Her hoodie is by Xaya and those awesome gradient leggings are from Kawaiimon. These kind of clothes don't really hide the fact that Bluefairy heads are huge, but I don't care, she's still awesome. She has the most casual style of my MSD girls, of course done with pastels. Fairy kei is a huge inspiration, but I'm trying to keep it cool and together. I don't know what her style really is, maybe it's just Fair Children? xP

So bright lime
Eep, sorry about spamming her, but I finally got my spring Leeke wig. This is their Bright Lime and boy is it perfect for Shua. I actually squeed aloud xD I wish I had ordered more, all those colours are so pretty. Too bad my wallet didn't agree with me...
Hopefully Leeke will re-run these spring colours again because I sure want more. I'm especially crying after Misty Green. Not that my dolls really need more green wigs, I already have four dolls with green hair (Shua, Gert, Hiu and my Monster High Fishfish). At the moment I have no doll with blue hair, so if I still need to invent a hair colour to someone, I think I should go with pale blue.

My friends showed me web clips of Ever After High, and I think I must buy one or two when the dolls come out xD I fell in love with Mad Hatter's daughter, she's just so pastel-y and crazy, what a surprise. If they really share bodies with Monster Highs, I'm so doomed! Okay, doomed to purchase one.

Pastels rock
Isn't Shua cute with her clothes? I bought stuff from Xaya and Luna for my fairy kei girl, the hat and the necklace are my own.
I've been toying with an idea to switch either her or my Olive to a tanned version, because I really want a tan Tinyfairy and this might help me to cut down the amount of dolls I own. Not that it would actually help in this catastrophe but at least I'm trying. So if you want to sell me your tanned May-V or Olive or trade 'em for a white skinned version + cash from me...well, it's worth a try. Or then I'll just wait what Bluefairy comes up with.
I know there are tanned TFs coming soon, but I heard they are Louis and Jasmine. Nothing against these gorgeous dolls but they are not Bluefairy sculpts I'm so in love with, so I'll rather wait for the right one :3 It's either May-V, Olive (dear lord Olive Valentine in tan would rock *_*), Sarang or Somang. Or some wild card! Luckily I'm in no hurry since I don't really "need" a tan Tinyfairy. I just WANT.

Starfox
Like I said, yet another new doll came my way. I've funded Finland's custom office very well this month, maybe they'll send me a T-shirt or something?
Angst aside, Shua is here, my May Valentine. I bought her through Pupa*Casa's special white choice event where you were able to purchase some limited molds in WS, body of your choice and some extras. Of course I cried after Sleeping Sarang too but May-V came first since I've always loved this sculpt, and it was a fantastic chance to get her just as I wanted. She's so very beautiful *3*
Her character idea is a dream fox, I took off her ears because of the hat, something quite inspired from The Little Prince and Japan's kitsune (fox) spirits. She sleeps in her own little mint-coloured moon during the days and hops in the dream world by night, planting cookies everywhere. She's a kind soul but slightly mischievous like foxes tend to be and doesn't always understand how feelings work.
Unfortunately as she arrived, I took a look at my collection and decided that it's time to do a little change. Her style is so close to my Minimay's that I decided that Minimay can go. I love May sculpt very much, but four versions of this sculpt are maybe bit too much...
I traded Minimay (Gretel) to something small, catlike and grumpy. My first anthro doll, can't wait!
