My precious protector

I picked up a new wig for Meital yesterday <3 Her old ones are so worn out, so I got her a new shiny one from For my doll. The wig quality and colour are superb! Of course there is hair everywhere, but it can't be avoided in these kind of wigs xD (I use a soft baby brush + water spray can to tame it.)

So I wanted to snap some shots with her and her kitty, Malva, who also has new stuff from Ylang Garden ^^

A little info about their characters: Malva is not actually a cat, nor her real name is Malva. She's a seraph who was left behind and forgotten in an ancient great war. I haven't yet found out how she came to live with Meital, but I know she truly and geniously loves Meital. That's why she looks like a little mint green kitten, because she takes her physical form from her mistress's wishes :D Well, she doesn't complain, I think she's perfectly happy as a little cute cat ;3

Attack of the pastel kitties!

Today a dolly friend came over and brought her two Pipos kitties along <3 Malva was thrilled to have some pastel playmates, and of course I had to take some photos:

Augh, this cranberry Ringo. I want one too ;3; I thought I had gotten over the urge, but now when I saw one IRL, the need is strong, I tell you!

New Pipos mint resin vs. the old one. Mimosa is darker than Malva and has different hands and tails.

Meital was ready to adopt them all right away xD Well, she loves kitties more than anything. Sadly Mimosa and Alma already have an owner, so she'll just have to do with Malva alone :P

Luckily these photos cheered up an otherwise sucky day ;_; Our little baby mouse is really sick, she has something wrong with her tummy. It might be a bowel obstruction or something she was born with and triggered by moving to a new pack. Or in worst case, a tumour, which unfortunately means only one thing. I try normally not get too emotional with mice, because they are fragile creatures and live just one or two years. But little Rúndís is just eight weeks old, she's just a pup :( It just feels so unfair. Right now she's in a separate cage, loaded with pineapple (it should help with her bowel system), nutrition gel, food and easy access to water. I hope she makes it ;3;

Edit: Unfortunately she had to be put to sleep this morning ;_; Rest in peace, little sweetie! ;3;

A midsummer rose

Happy Midsummer! We're spending it home relaxing and chilling - hubby is playing his games, I'm knitting and watching anime. That's just how wild we are, apparently :P I've been having hectic times at work, so this is just fine <3

Today we did take a walk along the seashore in Eastern Helsinki, enjoying the sea and the nature. I stopped by a quiet beach to snap some photos of Malva (Pipos Ringo) that I had brought along :3

She finally got her own eyes from Souldoll.You may not see it very well, but there's a picture of a rose in them <3 Souldoll acrylics are really nice, it's just a hassle to get them because you'll need to either pay for EMS or arrange a group order which I'm so lazy to do xP And it's hard to make those orders because almost everything small is always sold out there...Luckily Sarqq came to the rescue so we both got some eyes, yay!

The next weekend it's Hypecon which I'm planning to attend. I haven't been in anime conventions since ages, so it's quite exciting! Hopefully there is something for an old granny like me who loves mostly magical girls and other lighthearted silly stuff xD;

A kitty birthday party!

What a perfect light today, so good that I was already shooting dolls before 9:00 AM :D Well, it's the best time because the rising sun hits our home then and there is light everywhere. And I wake up at 6:00 AM on weekdays anyway because of my job, so it's not too hard to get up early on weekends as well.

I had to take some photos of a recent knitting commission anyway, so I played with my kitty BJDs a little bit.

The setup. These are Re-ments I bought from Japan, I think the series is called Hello Kitty Birthday Party.

Malva's new dress is from Kuloft who has plenty of beautiful stuff - I could take some of his/her Blythe dresses when I have some funds again...

A comparison between Malva and my other cat doll, Mr. Paw (Camellia Dynasty's Wong). I don't photograph him a lot, but there he is! Not that he minds though - he seems the happiest when he gets to sleep in Meital's lap. I did make him a new bell collar though.

And the reality. Not that cats would really have table manners, right?
