February knittings

As the title promised, here are some recent knitting projects I've done ^^ Both are commissions, but yes, my own dolls have asked for their own too xD I really like knitting with thin mohairs these days, surely it's time-consuming, but the scale just looks so nice <3

An oversized greyish blue cardigan in SD-size, cable knitting in the sleeves and stuff :3

And a light purple hoodie for Soom Teenie Gem, working buttons and lace-trimmed hood. This was the very first hood I've knitted, and it was actually really simple. There will be more of these, as Hilde already ordered a light pink one for herself :D Needy little thing! Well, she deserves it...

Yikes, how yellow she is these days...

Carrier pigeon's new tool

Nothing drastic, but a messenger bag for Hilde has been on my shopping list for a while. I got her a cute rabbit one, of course:

She's yellowing quite badly, but that's just how it goes with WS, I guess. Oh well, I still find her adorable and she's still my favourite Teenie Gem sculpt.

(Heh, I read that some people find it annoying if you call your dolls cute and lovely while presenting their photos xP Okay, I'm guilty, but if I'm to invest thousands of euros into these dolls, of course they better be the cutest and the loveliest things I've ever seen. And they are!)

OT: We're leaving on Monday to Seoul, so excited <3

Birds and strange things

 

Hmm, all the recent posts have been about my bird-themed dolls. Well, here is one more :D I took a photoshoot with Krähe and Hildegard, my Yrie who loves to boss poor Krähe around. She's a gutsy little thing.

This is Faramita, a new uhm...bjd creature from Doll-Chateau. I have no idea what exactly she is, but I know that she is just adorable <3 Is it bad if I want her? Somehow she just reminds me of surreal children's fairy tales. I could get her painted in shades of mint blue and pink, give her glass beads as eyes and turn her into something very strange but cute!

The shadow prince

This is Senka, my Soom Bygg / Dikadoll hybrid. He is a shadow boy of the dreams, a servant of the nightmeres who has almost complitely forgotten who he once was. The shadow has almost complitely taken him and turned him ash grey. You can see the corruption on his neck and face. But something remains which still keeps him in a human form. What is it that you seek, Senka?
