Lots of hair

Shua's current look, inspired heavily by fairy kei and decora. Thanks, Tumblr! Her massive and adorable purple mohair wig is from Milly, and I love it. It's so thick it's really easy to style. I've been wondering if I should make a simple "tutorial" of styling mohair wigs. Well, more like giving ideas how to tame them with hair clips and rubber bands :D

And speaking of massive mohair wigs...

"The Queen" (she hates to be called one though, she's bit weird) got a new hair from Natrume. Her afro is fun too but she really cannot wear hair accessories or hairdos with it. I like the volume, the quality and the colour, but the extra length comes from strips of mohair pelt and their edges show easily unless you carefully hide them. Well, I don't know if it is possible to make this wig any other way, lining the extensions would make this one massive as it would mean the amount of fur doubling ^^; I'm fine with how it is, just wanted to share my thoughts ^^

Shared, cared

I don't know exactly how this happened, but yes, apparently I own a special-skinned SD boy now too :D No excuses except he is very pretty. His name is Shimral, and he is Hecate's advisor. A demigod representing the night, the darkness and all things logical and cold. He has a brother, Sahitun (my Soom Heliot) who's the day, the sun, the emotion and such. Shimral is by no means evil, but he has difficulties understanding emotions, sexuality and love. He is the sense if his brother is the sensibility.

I first thought that he could have just a casual relationship with his mistress, just because she's a hot lady who likes pretty boys. But as I took this shoot, well, there is definitely lots of everything else involved. Hecate is a complex character full of layers like an onion, but one thing is sure - her heart is very lonely, and there has never been anyone truly in it. Maybe that will change?

The pictures are slightly NSFW in nature so I placed them behind a cut. (Trust me, thanks to Spiritdoll "special parts" they could be much worse though xD).

The moon goddess

Hecate has a new dress for the winter season. This is basically just a rectangle of green and gold fancy jersey fabric, but I did sew decorations and stuff for months when I had some extra time. So everything is hand-sewn...yep, I know. Inspiration came from Alphonse Mucha and Art Nouveau in general <3 Love those long simple flowy dresses. The materials are mostly sequins and a big moon charm which came from a broken (cheap Chinese) necklace.

Just in case someone wonders how she stands so bravely...there is a saddle-shaped doll stand hidden behind her hems xP I couldn't leave her to stand on her own - Epidia's claw hands have the most delicate fingers that need extra protection. Actually I switch to her regular Supergem female hands when she's not in photos, just because I'm very neurotic. I've broken well enough SD-sized hands to know when to be careful!

That mad she-wolf

Happy Ebay shopping brought me some new things: a photography background (damn that thing is impossible to get un-wrinkly!) and a stand, finally. Now I can photograph Hecate standing without having to fear for those precious claw hands. I'm quite sure they would go all over the place if she fell ^^; She also has new clothes that I bought and made - the corset top and the shrug are by yours truly. I love sewing on details ;3

They call Hecate "the butterfly queen" but she's really a mad she-wolf. Old, strong, smart, crazy and has a temper of a volcano. She surely brings chaos wherever she goes, but she's the most dedicated mother ever. One of my favourite characters, and I really should write about her, I know...

The misty forest

We got the most perfect misty weather today, so pretty that I just had to pack up a doll and go outside despite having a flu still. Unfortunately of course the mist didn't look as cool in the forest with all the trees, but I think I managed to snatch a couple of good shots ->

I finally recieved Hecate's human head and claw hands from Jesmoth, so it means my dark lady is complete. Which of course means some mandatory photography spam <3
