Glitterfingers!

Whoops, forgot to post these here as well xD; I did a customization project and painted Shimral's fingers with various nail art glitters and gloss.

Actually it wasn't as simple as I thought xD; Those large flakes had to be individually attached with a small brush as they just floated around otherwise, and these took about four layers of gloss. But I like the result! I thought that as Shimral's character is a mage, he has a bad habit of handling magical items with his bare hands xD Tsk tsk.

And Liduse got a new again again through a trade. It's Leeke's Pale Turquoise, and it fits her very well...just like all pastel colours. Luckily I just got rid of most of my extra doll wigs, so I can hoard more :D

Happy holidays to all my readers <3 I originally wanted to make something Christmassy here as well, but I've been sick, busy with my job and there is a depressing, dark weather outside with no snow :< But maybe my pastel dolls will sparkle enough for Christmas? xD

Dusty old rose

Whoops, I forgot to post my recent Shimral photos here. Let me fix that!

I really like this boy <3 Spiritdoll's Proud body is so nice; I love the contrast it brings to his pastel hair and maybe slightly feminine face xD And hey, grey resin and pink hair...it's an awesome combo. I tried grey and black wigs on him, and it was just too dark.

He could use some body blushing (I ordered materials to make something bit different and SPARKLY) and a new wig - I love this one, but alas, it's bit too small for Spiritdoll's larger head and stays on with violence and a prayer xD Projects ahead!

Pastel boys

Hecate's boys (okay, they need a better title!) got finally some hair - and of course it means photo time! Sadly the photos aren't very good this time. I should have dragged out my tripod and some extra lights, as it is a dark, rainy day outside :/

Sahitun's wig is from bycaptainpanda. I originally planned this for Shimral but alas, it didn't fit :/ Spiritdolls apparently have bit larger heads, and because this is made with glue, the cap doesn't really stretch. Oh well, it works with Sahi as well <3 It's so soft, I could just play with it for hours xD

Luckily I got another new wig so Shimral doesn't have to go bald. Grey skin is so easy - any pastel shade works! He also has some new trinkets, from Iplehouse and a human-sized moon necklace from Ebay which I just shortened for doll-size xP

I originally planned that these two could be brothers, but that doesn't really work because they don't really look like it when they're together >_> Heliot's head is bit on the small side as well, compared to the rest of Hecate's crew (Shimral, Liduse, Amita). I may switch Sahitun to another mold in the future if I find a nice one and have the funds. Or if anyone wants to trade a romantic Heliot to a fantasy boy with a larger head, let's discuss it xD;

Shared, cared

I don't know exactly how this happened, but yes, apparently I own a special-skinned SD boy now too :D No excuses except he is very pretty. His name is Shimral, and he is Hecate's advisor. A demigod representing the night, the darkness and all things logical and cold. He has a brother, Sahitun (my Soom Heliot) who's the day, the sun, the emotion and such. Shimral is by no means evil, but he has difficulties understanding emotions, sexuality and love. He is the sense if his brother is the sensibility.

Whoops, sorry for the blabber...his doll form is Spiritdoll Dark, by the way.

I first thought that he could have just a casual relationship with his mistress, just because she's a hot lady who likes pretty boys. But as I took this shoot, well, there is definitely lots of everything else involved. Hecate is a complex character full of layers like an onion, but one thing is sure - her heart is very lonely, and there has never been anyone truly in it. Maybe that will change?
